Problem

Community giveaways meant spreadsheets, manual winner picks and accusations of rigged results. Checking that entrants actually joined the Discord server was manual work, and no organizer could prove a draw was fair after the fact.

What we built

A platform that made giveaways verifiable end to end:

• Provably fair draws: the winner derives from a hash published before the draw, so any participant can verify the result independently
• Entry actions with automatic verification: Discord joins, site visits, secret codes, daily bonus entries
• A dashboard with live participant tracking, scheduling, re-rolls and CSV winner exports
• A free tier plus premium at 9.99 per month through Stripe
• Discord verification and auto-join wired into the platform itself

Stack

Nuxt with Nuxt UI Pro, Supabase for auth and database plus Deno edge functions, Stripe, and the Discord API.

Outcome

GetGiven has been in production since 2023, shortly after RX Scripts: more than 11,000 users, over 1,000 giveaways hosted and 42,000+ participants verified and drawn. The fairness mechanism did its job: zero disputes about winner selection.

The platform still runs for its users today. Active feature development stopped in 2026 when MyChar became the SaaS getting the new ideas, and that is a deliberate part of how SolwareX works: a product reaches the point where it runs on its own, keeps serving its users, and the building energy moves to the next thing.
