MyChar Discord Bot

The challenge

A product community on Discord needs structure before it grows, not after. New members need a proper welcome, questions need a tidy place to land instead of scattered private messages, and engagement needs a reason to happen. None of that runs itself.

What we built

A community bot made of separate modules, so each part can be switched on or off per community:

• Support tickets with a full history
• Giveaways for community moments and launches
• Self-chosen roles, so members pick their own interests and notifications
• Rules and welcome messages that greet every new member the same way
• A suggestions channel, so ideas from the community land in one organised place
• Rewards for members who boost the server

The result

The MyChar server welcomes new members, collects product feedback and handles support without manual moderation. The suggestions double as product research: ideas from the community feed straight into what gets built next for MyChar.
