RX Scripts Discord bot

Problem

The RX Scripts community lives on Discord: that is where customers verify purchases, ask about orders and open support tickets, in every timezone and far from only in English. Doing that by hand stops working long before 10,000 members, and off-the-shelf bots cannot talk to a Tebex store.

What we built

A custom bot wired directly into the store:

• Tebex integration: purchase verification and order lookups, so customers link their purchases and get their roles without waiting for a human
• A ticket system with searchable HTML transcripts of every support conversation
• Automatic translation of support replies through DeepL, so non-English customers get help in their own language
• Reviews, statistics and suggestion commands that keep the community engaged
• A role selector and community easter-egg events for fun between releases

Stack

discord.js on Node.js with MongoDB for state, the Tebex API for orders and entitlements, and the DeepL API for translations.

Outcome

The bot carries first-line support for a community of more than 10,000 members around the clock. Order checks, ticket intake and language barriers are handled before a human looks at anything, which is the only way one person can support a 20,000-customer store.
